William Barthau is a French professional rugby league footballer who is currently contracted to the French Super League franchise Catalans Dragons. He is by preference a scrum-half. Despite only being promoted to the Catalans first-team squad in 2010, he played for the French national side at international level; coming off the bench against England in June, 2009.[1] He has been a trainee at the Dragons since the start of the 2009 season, and signed part-time in July 2009. In 2010 he signed his first professional contract. He was handed the number 16 jersey for 2010. His contract expires in 2011.
He represented France in the 2010 European Cup.
